Recurring tasks with oddset schedules... HELP

How do I set up a recurring task that does not have a regular time period on
the same line. For instance.... I have to write a report every 67 days. On
Project how would I set this up so that every 67 days Write Project shows up
on a straight line instead of a heirarchy?

I want it to look like this-
Write report Write Report Write report Write report

NOT-
Write report
Write Report
Write Report
Write
Report

Can anyone help?

Hello Lucy,
Have you tried the Insert / Recurring Task feature ? By default, it hides
the elementary tasks.
Another way :
Create a 10 days "Write Report" task if you schedule 10 tasks of one day
Use the Split Task button in the tool bar (with timescale day/day) to split
the tasks into 1 day lumps. Move each 1day section with the mouse on the
Gantt Chart.

Double click on the subtasks. On the general tab, make sure that the rollup
to summary task box is checked.
Next go to format menu, barstyles. Create a bar style (or use a pre-existing
one) which has "Show for" set to "rolled up" Set the text for that bar to
show in the middle of the bar. Click OK
