Redirecting a local link

I

Inma

Hello,
I've a home server and a wifi camara with a fixed local address
(192.168.0.40). On test.htm page I put a name (cam1) linked to
http://192.168.0.40 . The link works fine within the local network but not
from wan. How do I redirect a local link so it can be seen from a wan?
TIA
Inma

In your router, you would have to open access to the IP address, not a got idea. Check you router
manual on how to do this.

Since you are using a non-routable address (192.168.*.*) there is nothing
you can do to make this viewable on the Internet. You need to obtain a
static IP address from your ISP. Unfortunately, static IP addresses
generally are not available with most home services and will cost some money
if they are available with your service.
