referencing

Hi!
I have a problem with referencing cells from one
worksheet to another. I have a complicated spreadsheet,
which has about 12 worksheets in it. 11 are referenced
to the single master one (the master price list). What
has somehow happened (maybe I did a weird sort or
something on the master?) is that only the bottom 5
percent of my master list is referncing back to the other
worksheets correctly. The 95 percent above it are ONE
ROW OFF. Meaning that if the item on the master sheet is
say cell I40, the cell the other worksheet is referencing
is I41. When I originally did all this is worked
splendidly and then something went awry. I can re-
reference everything but don't feel like taking the 6
hours or so to do it.
This may not be as clear as I intended- could someone
with more knowledge than me contact me PLEASE. Please
also use my email address above, as just navigating my
way through the help website was challenging enough and
may never return to this message! : )
Thnak you in advance-
Katie

Hi

I think someone (yourself?) deleted a range of data from your data, thus
shifting cells below up for 1 row.
The easiest way to mend it is to copy shifted formulas over with unshifted
ones (I hope you copyed formulas when designed the worksheet instead
entering manually all of them).
In future, never delete a range with formulas referring to another cells.
Delete entire row, or use ClearContents.
