Reformatting occurs on other PC's - Why...Need it to Stop

When Powerpoints are saved and opened on other pc's the
format changes, items are resized, text and picture boxes
move out of place, and the font changes. Is there a way
that the ppt can be locked or to change the settings on
other pc's so this reformatting doesn't happen?

Fonts don't travel with a presentation unless they are specifically
embedded. It sounds like the needed font isn't available on other systems,
so PowerPoint does the best job it can to substitute a font, but it still
causes spacing, etc. to be off. See the following:
