Refresh of linked tables and create local copy - automated

I have created a linked database containing several tables. I would like to
be able to automate the task of refreshing the tables then copying the tables
to create a local copy. Something to also note is that we are prompted to
login to the database we are linking to.

Or if there is another method that can accomplish this same process??

Sorry I am writing on another thread but the Newsgroup is not allowing me to
create a New Post.

Q: How do I create a Function that calls a Sub? I have created a Macro that
takes a report, outputs it into a Word Document, and then I would like to
have the Macro then open that word document and that's where I run into
problem. The easiest way looks like the RunCode feature and I have a Sub that
can open the document but apparently I need a Function that refers to the Sub
and I just don't know how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
