Regression load of Office 200 over XP

I have both Office 2000 and XP. I prefer Office 2000 Pro
and would like to reload 2000 over my version of XP. What
are the conseguences of doing this?

I doubt you can load over/ downgrade. It would be better to completely
remove XP version prior to installing 2K. Even if you plan to run both the
earlier version should be installed first.
