reindex files?

I have run into an error in Peachtree Accounting that states I should do a
chkdsk (done and ok) then do a reindexing of my files. How do I do this in
Windows XP?

You should ask in either Peachtree Accounting or Windows XP newsgroup. This
is neither. This Newsgroup addresses issues with MS Office Publisher...
