reloading office

I purchased my computer used about 3 years ago- recently due to a virus I had
to "rebuild" my harddrive - so everything was erased. When I went to
reinstall the small business office disks that I got with my computer - I
realized I don't have the product key - is there anyway to get the product
key from microsoft? I have the name of the person I bought the computer from,
but am no longer in touch with them. Any suggestions would be very helpful -

Sorry, but no. MS offers no support for OEM supplied software (that's one of
the reasons it's so much cheaper than retail). All support - including
replacement keys and media - is the sole responsibility of the OEM.

OEM versions:

-- cannot upgrade
-- cannot be transferred to a different computer in the future
-- the license cannot be sold or transferred to another user
-- are not eligible for free Microsoft technical support
-- cost less than "retail versions" due to the above limitations
