Removal of OneNote Trial Installation

I the OneNote Free Trial Installation. Because of low
hard disk space, All installation .msi, winzip .zip,
cabinet .cab files were removed and saved on a CD
according to the directories that were on the HD. I tried
using the Add and Remove Programs Windows utility to
Remove the program from the system. The program goes to
a Windows Installer and is looking for some installation
file(s). After not finding it(them) and allows for the
user to browse and finally having not found what it
needed it cannot complete the removal and the program
haults. I tried to re-install the download file in hopes
it would return the necessary files to their location and
would then allow the program to be removed. However the
installation did not complete stated as it did in the
removal that there is something not proper with the
installation file(s). Specifically the statement in the
window is: "The patch package could not be opened.
Verify that the patch package exists and that you can
access it, or contact the application vendor to verify
that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."
I think that I have all of the necessary files on CD if I
need to replace them, if I know which ones to replace, or
how I can make the installation work to place them, or
another manner to remove this program from the system
with the current status.
Thank you very much for your concern and effort.
