Remove attachments macro

I have had a lot of experience with Visual Basic in Access, but I have never
written any code for Outlook.

Does anyone know of a quick way to automate removal of attachments from
emails contained within a folder?

there are number of existing 3rd party apps that can do it for you. if you
want to do it yourself, there should be some samples on slipstick.com or
outlookcode.com

Excellent. I found one at outlookcode.com that removed and saved the
attachment and then put a note in the message telling what was removed.
Since I don't need to save them, I deleted that part.
