remove on screen navigation from powerpoint slides

Is it possible to remove the new on screen navigation options from a
presentation amd force people to navigate with buttons?

Thanks in advance for the help.

If I understand your question correctly, go to Slide Show > Set Up Show and set
it to "Kiosk". That will disable the effect of all keyboard or mouse functions
except the Escape key and mouse clicks on links that you provide.
