remove % (units) from Gantt chart bars?

I'm using MS Project 2003. On my Gantt chart bars it shows the Resource Name
and the % (units) for the first listed resource. How can I have it not show
the % (units) on the Gantt chart bars?

If you still want to see the resource name listed after the bar, you
will need to set up a formula in a custom field to strip out the name
only and then show that field with the bar. As an simpler alternate, you
could set up the Gantt Bars to show the Resource Initials field instead
of Resource Names. Keep in mind that the Initials field on the Resource
Sheet is user definable. That is, you can overwrite the default with
anything you like.
