Removing Section Breaks

I'm using v2002 and have created sections in my document. Now it looks like
I'd like to remove the section breaks. Looking in Help, I did not find
directions on how to do so. Thanks for any assistance.

Insert section, uncheck begin a section with this page, check continue from
previous section.

Thanks Mary. That worked - with one exception. I had several sections
which I wanted to reconstitute to one section. For some reason, there is an
asterisk indicator remaining on one of the page indicators at the bottom of
the screen. Perhaps it is not a section indicator? The numbers run
consecutively from one through 32. The indicator is at page eleven.

I am trying to have the pages numbered, starting at the third physical page
in the booklet. I would like that page to be numbered 1 and centered at the
bottom of the page. I cannot get it to work. Would you be so kind to
impart your wisdom once again?

You will have to insert a section on page three. Check start at page 1. Go to
Insert again, page numbers, bottom of the page, center. You will have to repeat
this step for page 2.

I've never seen the asterisk, don't know what it indicates.
