Repeating Tasks

I need a sequence that shows the schedule of an employee that work for us
part time around a Fire Service full time job.
I'd like to be able to see what the schedule is at a glance of his full time
position,
described as follows:
He works 3 Nights on
Then has 3 days off.
He works 3 days on
Then has 3 days off
Repeats.
I had this all figured out then our harddrive crashed last week and some
things are starting from scratch.

Thanks

The simplest solution is to ignore nights and just have him work 3 on 3 off.
You rarely need to worry what time a task is done, rather what tasks need
doing this week?

For 3 on 3 off you need to edit the calendar day by day, or even more simply
work out the number of working hours per week and set the average number of
hours per day. Remember also to setup the Max Units. So if say the employee
works an average 30 hour week, but only spends 15 hours on your project,
then set max units to 50%

Rod - thanks for the thoughts.
I played with it last eve. and here's what I came up with that works.
I set up 3 recurirng tasks as follows.
One called Nights, runs for 3 days, then repeats every 12th day.
One called Off, runs for 3 days and repeats every 6th day.
Lastly, one dalled Days, runs for 3 days, repeats every 12th.
I made all the days in the year working days, as his schedule runs across
all 7 days of the week.

Thanks again

John
