Reply is being attached

Whenever I receive an email and reply or forward to
someone, the original message becomes an attachment. I
have checked within the option settings on replies and
forwards "include and indent original messag text". But I
still have the same problem.

We recently got new computers with win.Xp Pro. the office
version is 2000. We did not have this problem with win98
systems. I updated the office from winupdate web site, We
are connecting Via pop3 from exchange server. Any Ideas
what it could be the problem

try changing the reply settings to something else, apply, then set it back
on the include and indent option and apply.
