Report Footer

I have a report with report header, page header, detail section, Page and
report footers. Currently report footer is 0" height.
All sections heights/widths add up to less than pg - margins.

I look at a report with 1 record for detail; all report prints on 1 page.

If I add any height to report footer section an additional page is added
with report footer on page 2. Heights still add to less than pg - margins.

If there are enough detail records, I will get page 2 and report footer on
page 2.

I can't figure out why (if I add any height for report footer >0) I have a
page 2 with report footer when only one detail record and it should all fit
on one page. It seems as though the report footer should fit on one page
with only 1 detail record.

Any ideas.

Something is asking for a new page either after a section, or before the
report footer.

Open the report in design view, and check the Force New Page property of the
Report Footer section, and of the group footer(s) and Detail section.

By any chance do you have the Report Footer ForceNewPage property set
to BeforeSection? Set it to "none".
