Thank you Gerard! I have created a filter as you suggested so now only the
tasks which have deadlines appear. This is a great first step and has made
me aware of the important feature of being able to create my own filters. Is
there a way for only deadlines to show instead of when a task starts and
finishes? Basically, at a glance, in a calendar format I would like to see
when all tasks are due.
Thanks Gerard. Unfortunately, I don't think this is going to solve it. I
need to print a report for my supervisors which looks like a calendar and
shows the deadline for each task. As an example of my dilema let's suppose a
task starts on Oct 3rd, has two days duration (finish date Oct 4th) and a
deadline of Oct 7th. What currently shows is a bar on the calendar from Oct
3 & 4th. But all they want to see is a notation on Oct 7th that the task is
due. Is my question a little clearer now?
Don't apply the dealine on the task itself, but on a milestone which is
following it whith a FS link. You could add a "Start No Earlier Than" (Oct
7th) constraint on this milestone. Then apply your filter.
