Reporting Custom fields in MS Project

I would like to create a crosstab report containing the values in custom
field Cost1 against each task in my project. The choice of fields available
in custom crosstab reporting seems quite limited - Are the custom fields
available? Does anyone know how to create a report using custom cost fields?

A crosstab report shows timescaled data. There is no timescaled data for
spare fields. Why? Because spare fields are user defined and Project has
no idea on how spare field data should be spread over the time period.
You can create timescaled data for spare fields but it will require you
to define the spread algorithm in VBA and the data will need to be
exported to display it as timescaled.
