Reporting MS Project task progress from Outlook

Hi, I'm sure there must be an easy answer to this, but I can't find it.

In a MS Project project, I want to be able to send the tasks to the
people doing the tasks so they can update their progress.

Can they have those tasks in their Outlook and update the tasks to
report the information back to my Project file?

Most importantly, can it be done simply? I don't touch VBA and servers
and such. Surely there's an easy way?

Help is greatly appreciated - this just seems like a logical feature
for Project to have.
