Represent data in ms excel format line graph

I currently copy/paste resource usage to excel to represent the data in a
line graph with markers at each data point. What I want is to be able to
read the data direct from project and have project represent the data in a
similar fashion. Can this be done?
My three lines represent planned cumulative, actual cumulative and
reforecast cumulative.
I am forced to update incomplete work to the current day on a daily basis as
the project runs with multiple tasks requireing remilestoning and extending.

Project2007 has very robust integration with Excel. Specifically, you can
create a BCWS and ACWP chart for each resource using a pivot table. That can
be done directly out of the box with a minor amount of effort.

Using 2003 to do that same thing becomes much more complex since the Export
Time Phased Data to Excel wizard does not have all the features you would
need.

I am not sure of a product that will do exactly what you want directly,
including Project. You may want to try a free trial download of Kidasa
(www.kidasa.com) Milestones2008 which may support this type of mapping.
Their pre-sales support is outstanding, so give it a try.

Not the answer I was hoping for but it has addressed the issue in that I am
obviously at this time looking down the wrong path for what I need.
I will continue utilising a copy paste to excel at this time.

Thankyou for your time
