Request Status: 9104 problem

Trying to launch a small pilot & demonstrate the OLAP cube functionality.

When trying to build a cube, on the "Update resource tables and OLAP cube"
page, I get the message "Request Status: 9104". Then nothing happend and the
cube is not built.

Also (as it may be related), on the "Model projects with Portfolio Modeler"
page, my projects do not show up the list of available projects. The list is
blank.

I have created 3 test projects and resourced and published them. Using
Project Server 2002.

Any insight is appreciated.

Doesn't sound like you've got the system configured properly. Did you
complete all the steps in the installation guide under "After installing
Project Server?" What errors are you seeing in the Server application event
log? How about the security log? I suspect you're not authenticating to
analysis services or the database or the repository.

I thought I had done all the checks.

Since I don't have much data on it, decided to blow this one (2002 version)
away and install the 2003 version.

Have you found the 2003 version easier to install and administer? I hope
that is more automatic with less or none after install activities.
