resetting Office XP

I am having a problem with Word. After much research and
analysis with no solution in sight, I want to reset my
Word settings to 'factory default', thinking my problem
maybe due to a combination of settings.

How can I reset my options/settings?

Hi, Joyce,

Uninstall Word, and delete the normal.dot file. This will reset most
everything you can imagine. Then re-install Word.
