resizing attachments

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Email Client: pop

I need to shrink the size of the attachment when sending out file is too large or photo size is too large. How do I resize this before sending out in email. Is there a quick way to do this from Iphoto or from entourage.

Entourage doesn't have the same resize function as Outlook 2007, but you can
resize pictures via Iphoto - highlight the pictures you want to send, then
click on email. You will get a pop up asking what size you want to send.
