There are no hours shown in the work column in the resource usage view, but
the hours are shown in the work column in the task usage view. Any help?

Paul,
This is a repost of your same question last week. Take a look at the
answers from that post.

Must be a speck on your glasses. I guess smart asses are every where. Are you
going to help or not? If not, let someone who wants into the conversation,
say your supervisor!

Paul,
Apparently something strange must be going on with posts. On Friday
March 3, a user named Paul posted a message about no hours in the Work
column. I responded on that same day as did Julie.

Then on Monday, March 6 I see the exact same post. It said, and I quote,
"There are no hours shown in the work column in the resource usage view,
but the hours are shown in the work column in the task usage view. Any
help?" You responded that it was a comment, not a question. I only
responded to the obvious miscommunication (i.e. same post and it was
indeed a question).

Occasionally users will post a question that doesn't get an immediate
response. Then they post again figuring that might get someone's
attention. We are all volunteers, we do NOT work for Microsoft. If a
user posts and re-posts the same question it can dilute our limited time
since one MVP may spend time responding to the second post when someone
else has already responded to the question the first time.

I don't think there is a speck on my glasses in this case (check the
posting dates and the content). If you feel I've been offensive, I
apologize. We are here to help and are glad to do so, but if it appears
a user is abusing the newsgroup (i.e. multiple posts on the same
question), I tend to get a little testy - it's a character flaw I have.

At any rate, it looks like Julie is running with this one. I'll bow out
and let her take the reigns.

Need to lower your testosterone levels! You don't set a good example of
someone that represents Microsoft.

I will be working with Julie.

Thanks
