Resource pool and sharer files problems

Hi,

Sorry, I'm a newbie at MS project and I can't figure out how to make
the program do what I want. Is there a way to create a resource pool
that does not put all the resources in every project? I'd like to keep
the resources in individual projects separate. If not, is there a way
to sort to only show the resources in one project? The same resource
is used over multiple projects but not all resources are in all
projects. I'm using MS project 2000.

Thanks!

Hi,

With resource pools either all resources are in the pool or not. You cannot
have some and not another. Insert the Project fields and you will see which
project each assignment belongs to.

Hi,

I guess I wasn't clear (or I'm not understanding). I'd like all the
resources in the resource pool but only want the resources for each
project in the project file. Is that possible? I also tried inserting
the project fields and all resources were assigned to the resource
pool. I'm not clear on what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks!
