resource pool visibility

Is it possible to restrict resource pool visibiltiy to users in Pro. For
instance is it possible to set up users where they only see the resource they
use to assign to tasks. We have multiple contractors using one MSP server and
one contractor cannot see the others resources or thier info associated with
that resource.

I've been told that this is possible if you set up the RBS and use
restrictions there. Does this restrict the view it Pro? Also, is it
documented anywhere. I've read throught the Microsoft Project Server Security
Architecture and Planning Guide but it doesn't really explain my question.

Any help is greatly apprecitated.

The answer is to use RBS and relationship-based security in categories, but
understand that once a PM has a resource in their plan, they can access
information about that resource, so this may or many not be bullet-proof for
you.

Thanks Gary.
That makes sense. I'm using simular security in 2003 now, excluding the RBS
part. The one problem I have noticed in 2003 is that users can see the
resources in Pro once they are in the plan. I wasn't sure if this was still
the case with 2007.
I just can't figure out any other way to make it work.

I'm in the planning stages to migrate to 2007 so I'm trying to document all
Risks and Issues.

Thanks for your quick reply. As always, you are very helpful.
