Resource to-do report

I have a project setup with resources assigned. The summary task is the
address of the property being worked on. A subtask is "Survey Property". I'd
like to create a to-do list for each resource assigned to survey the
properties, with the summary task shown so they know the address.

The to-do report in Project doesn't allow this. Any ideas? I've tried the
using the task reports with a filter and this works, but the layout in the
to-do report is much better.

David,
Well there are a few different choices. If you like the format of the
built-in "To do list" Report, the only way to get the address included
is to tack it onto each task name. Not particularly convenient, but it
is easy and will get you there.

The built-in reports in Project are great for some things but they don't
have a lot of flexibility. However, most of them can either be
replicated or emulated with a customized view. For your case, try the
Resource Usage view with a interactive filter for each resource. The
format won't be the same as the "to do list" report, but at least you
will have the data you want.

If you simply have to have the format of the "to do list" report, the
only way to get that is by using an advanced feature of Project, namely
VBA. With VBA, Project data can be exported to another application (e.g.
Excel) that has more flexibility with formatting.

Hope this helps.
