Resource usage report

I would like to get resource usage report with task allocation information,
with only one row per resource and with task names in cells (instead of work
in cells).

Default is work in cells, with every resource having additional rows for
every task appointed, which makes report too long.

Can this be done? Perhapse with export to Excel or with some add-in tool?

I'm not sure what you mean by "task allocation" but yes, virtually any
customized report format desired can be achieved. The most flexible
approach is to use VBA and export the necessary data to another
application (e.g. Excel). If you don't have VBA expertise, then you
could try a combination of export maps and the utility "analyze
timescaled data in Excel". And, there is always the copy/paste approach
but may not be to practical.

Hi Blaz

I had one such requirement, found VBA macros very helpful.
The only difference in my requirement was I wanted all taks as rows and
resources as columns.
