Hello,

Given this example:

Task 1
--Task 1.1 (Tom, Dick, Harry)
--Task 1.2 (Tom)
--Task 1.3 (Dick)

Task 2
--Task 2.1 (Mary, Sue)
--Task 2.2 (Tom, Mary)
--Task 2.3 (Harry)

I would like to try to show the following (if it is possible) whether
in a report or in a view.

<---Time-->
Tom 8hr
--Task 1 6hr
----Task 1.2 3hr
----Task 1.3 3hr
--Task 2 2hr
----Task 2.2 2hr

etc...

I've been playing around with the Grouping By in the Resource Usage
View, and I can get the tasks to be grouped by the summaries, but I
can't get the hours to summaries up in the Task Summary lines.

Get anyone help?

Thanks.

It appears you want to list tasks where the only resource assigned is "Tom".
Using the Resource usage view, you will get all tasks involving "Tom" even
if "Dick" and "Jane" are assigned as well.

You may want to insert the Resource column on the normal Gantt view. Then
Project/Group By:No Group/Customize Group By...

Select "Resource Name". You will see "Tom" as a stand alone. You will also
see other groups like "Tom, Dick", "Tom, Dick Harry".

Since there are no resources assigned to summaries, they will be grouped
separately.
