Chris, here's how:
1. Open the project in question and make sure no other projects are open
2. Display the Task Usage view, and then apply the Cost table
3. Move the Total Cost column to the immediate right of the Task Name
column
4. Notice that the Total Cost is correctly tallied for ONLY this project
for each task and resource assignment
5. Click Project - Group By - More Groups.
6. Click the New. button
7. Name the new Group something like "_Assignments Then Tasks"
8. Select the "Show in menu" option
9. Select the "Group assignments, not tasks" option
10. On the "Group By" line, select the Field Name called "Name"
11. Set the Field Type value for the "Name" field as "Assignment"
12. On the first "Then By" line, again select the Field Name called "Name"
13. Set the Field Type value for the second "Name" field as "Task"
14. Click the OK button, then click the Apply button
15. You should now see the Total Cost for each resource, as well as the
Total Cost for each task, but you will see a duplicate resource name below
each task name

Currently using the Enterprise Features of Project Server 2003 when a PM
opens a Project and looks at the resource usage, all current projects for
the resources in this projects data is currently being displayed. So we
designed a filter for 'This Project Only' based on task outline code being
greater than 0. Once you apply the filer the tasks disappear but the totals
remain the same also when you expand and collapse the user the tasks
reappear!!!
How can we just display resource usage/costs and hours just for this
project only.
