We have an insteresting twist on Proj Srvr 2002
Which is going to be easier / better to use in the following situation
I have several people that are functionally similar for example Quality Control (QC) and Manufacturing (MA). My Proj Manager has put in the resources as QC and MA. Is there any way to allow any particular QC person to login to PWA and report work complete. For example I have 5 Projects and 2 QC people Sam and Dave. Dave works on Proj 1,2,3 and Sam works on 3,4,5 I need to see the total Work needed and Work Complete for QC across all projects as well as how each project stands. So far the only way I can see to do it is to have separate logins for each function and have the PM login then delegate the tasks to the appropriate people but that seems awkward. And Yes I have no idea what I am doing!!

There a number of approaches to this, which works best in your situation is
difficult to say given nothing but a paragraph in the news groups.
Unfortunately, Stuart's suggestion will work only in Project Server 2003.

You could create Project Server authenticated accounts for these roles and
share the logon information between users. Unfortunately, you'll never know
who did what, only how much was done cumulatively.

You could simply assign the entire team of QC folks to every task at a low
or no effort level, and then the task will become available for anyone on
the QC team to complete. In most cases, this proves to be the best solution.
