Retrieve project lost on Publisher after computer froze

Was in Publisher and computer froze. Was able to exit thru <START> <Turn off
computer> and Windows (XP) seemed to close Publisher. Did it save the
project I was working on and, if so, where? The project did not, as yet have
a name.

If you had not "Saved as..." it is gone. There is no automatic backup. Make
a practice of saving every few minutes of productive work.

If you are a very lucky person, then there will be usable temp files left
over.

Start > Run > "%temp%" (no quotes) > OK

Look for files named pub*.tmp, copy them to your desktop.

Rename them so that they have a .pub extension, and try to open them in
Publisher.
