retrieving previously saved pages in front page

Hello,
I have a problem in that I need to retrieve a previously
saved page in front page that I accidently updated and
saved my new work in.This was a big error as right now it
would appear that I lost hours of work that I spent on it
yesterday. I had it saved to documants as it wasn't a
regular web page, just one that I needed to use an html
editor for.

Let me rephrase this...I wish to restore a page that I
previously had saved, instead of the sunsequent page that
I saved accidentally. Unfortunately I had closed and
reopened front page after that action took place.

There must be some way I can retrive it, I just can't
figure out how. I hope I accurately described my problem.

Any help you have to offer will be much appreciated.
