Revealing and removing Text Boxes

Hello,
I have a worksheet in which it appears there are numerous
empty text boxes and i have no idea of how they got
there. they are not visible unless they have been clicked
on and they are minimal size. when i select the boxes and
hit delete they disappear but when i scroll back over with
the mouse they seem to still be there.
Is there a way i can show all text boxes on the worksheet
and remove them? The file is at a size now where i can
not save it or undo changes without a long wait and i feel
it may be becasue of all these text boxes.

Are there any shapes on that worksheet that you want to save?

If no, then
Edit|goto|special|Objects
ok your way out
and hit the delete key.

(You may have had something that put a textbox on a textbox on a textbox on a
textbox....)
