reverse engineering access db

Hello,
I have tried to reverse engineer using Visio 2003 an Access database. I have
tried it both in an unsecured version where the tables have no owner and in a
secure version where they do, and each time I get that it "cannot access the
table definitions" it lists the tables so it is getting into the database OK.
Do I need to have Visual Studio for reverse engineering to work? I didn't
know this at the time of buying the professional version of Visio.

visio 2003 professional supports reverse engineering access databases. What
version access are you attempting to look at? Are you using an odbc link?

Thanks for replying Al.
The database is in 2000 format but I have Access 2003 so I could change a
copy if that would help. I don't think I am using an odbc link. I opened the
wizard and it said Visio driver: Microsoft Access, and data sources: MS
Access databases. It then asked for the user name and password which I fould
a bit odd since I had told it the database let alone where the workgroup file
is. On the next screen I chose the database file. Should I be pointing at
something else?
