Right click disable

John S.

I am setting up a web site for a photographer. I need to
disable the right click function of the mouse so people
can not download images from his web site. Any one know of
a way to do this using frontpage?
Thanks in adavance,
John

Hi John,

Right clicking will not stop the downloading of images as the image is
already on their system.

John,

To be able to view an image on a browser it must be
downloaded and once it has been downloaded there are
always ways to capture and reuse it. To insure that
images taken off the web have no commercial value there
are several thins you can do. First make sure that the
image is no larger than what is actually displayed. You
can add a watermark to the image.

Best of luck

Agree the disable right click is worthless
But if you feel a need to do it, you will find an addin that adds this useless JavaScript at
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/downloads/addin/default.asp
