Risk Email Alerts not working - Proj Svr 2007

When I create a risk and assign it to myself I would expect en email alert to
be generated - however no alert occurs at all. Is this normal behaviour?
Alerts are working for other functions.

If it should be working, can anyone suggest what could be the problem?
As other email alerts are working it proves the email address to my account
is correctly configured as is the email server address settings. I cannot
find any configuration settings relating to alerts for risks.

can you tell me if only you dont receive an email or anyone who has an issue
or risk assigned to them

Everyone who has an issue or risk assigned to them does not receive the
alerts.

Hi BM,

try the following:
1.From the SharePoint Central Administration home page, click Operations.
2.Click Outgoing e-mail settings.
3.Fill in Outbound SMTP server and From address, then click OK.

This should give you mail notification. Let me know if this worked
