rogue clip art

Clip art that is outside the page and not touching any
part of the page is appearing in the middle of the
document when I print the document. When I delete the
image, it automatically selects the next item that is on
the desk top, so I have to delete all the items on the
desktop before I can print. Is there a way to fix this
problem. It all of a sudden just started when I had to
transfer my files to a server when the hard drive crashed
on my pc. Now when I retrieve my files these rogue clip
art images print.

thanks,

Andrew

Firstly, you cannot use Publisher with the files on the server. The
Publisher files *MUST* live on the local computers hard drive. This is for
all versions of Publisher.

If you want to keep them on the hard drive, that will mean copying them from
the hard drive to your local drive, then working on the files, then close
Publisher and copy the files back to the server.

The issue you describe is unknown in Publisher any version.

Always give your version of Windows and Publisher you are using to ensure
better support answers.
