Rotating a picture in Word

I am using Word 2003, and I copied a table from XL (2003 also) and paste it
in word as a picture (enhanced metafile), but I can not rotate or size the
picture. Can anyone help please?

Pictures which are inline with text cannot be rotated. Right-click the
picture, click Format Picture, Layout tab, select square or tight wrapping
style.

However, both inline and wrapped pictures *can* be resized, either via the
Format Picture / Size dialog, or by dragging a corner or edge with the mouse.
Are you unable to do that?
