Rounding and Displaying as Text

I want to achieve 2 things:
1. Round off a value to integer
2. Display a value in words

I figured out how to do both the above things but here are som
complications:

1. I'm able to do this using field codes, but the issue is, the value
want to round is fetched via Mail Merge. And the value inserted is "Rs
12345.6" instead of "12345.6" so word is not able to process it. I
there a way to ignore characters?

2. I'm able to do this again using field codes (CardText), but i
displays the values in Millions, Thousands and Hundreds whereas m
country uses a different system, which is Crores, Lakhs, Thousands
Hundreds.
Is there a way to achieve this?
