I'm still having problems with a rule that permanetly deletes email from a
specific email address. I have tried using the actual address and also using
contains @whatever.com. I have deleted my deleted folder and run the scanpst
also. Outlook has stopped locking up when said email arrives but now I am
getting the error:
"You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation."
I am the administrator of this computer running W2K SP4, Office XP w/SP3 and
the Outlook shows as Outlook 2002 SP3. It seems the problem with this rule
started after installing SP3. The computer is connected to a server, however
I am not running Exchange Server for email. Is the "permission" something I
am missing on the server or just on this computer? I do NOT have any version
of Office on the server. Short of completely uninstalling Office XP can
anyone offer a suggestion?
I am running anti-virus software with the lastest dat files and the system
is virus free.
TIA,
