Rules requiring sender in contact list

Does anyone know if it is possible in Outlook 2000 to
filter or set a rule that conditions on the sender being
in one of my contact folders? And if so, how it might be
done?

Did you look over the list ofcriteria in the rules wizard? I don't believe
outlook 2000 offers that option - it is available on later versions though.
