Hi Echo S,
Thanks for writing. I found the links you sent. One fix I thought might
work. The path followed opening HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. I can't get to the
files under that. Can you help?
Thanks! Kebrn

It is not a folder and there are no files concerned. It is a Registry
key as it says and you use Regedit (with extreme care).

Start-Run-Regedit
Navigate to the key in question and see what you have there.

Sorry, can't find anything on the Microsoft site using the phrase
"requesting termination." So maybe try these:

Ah. R6025, pure virtual function call.

This refers to a registry key. You need to go to Start|Run, type in Regedit
and edit the registry key.

Actually, you'll be better off getting the hotfix mentioned in that article
or SP3 for SharePoint Portal Server 2001. Why are you trying to fix this
manually? If you don't know about editing the registry, you shouldn't do
it -- you could end up with your system unbootable.

I do remember this started after I loaded a service Pack. So I did as you
suggested and I Found and loaded the SP3 for SharePoint. But I Still get the
same Runtime Error. "This application has requested the Runtime terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact this application's support team for more
information. " What should I do now?
