runtime error

My boss' computer has a Word problem. Whenever he shuts word down, he gets a
Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\
WINWORD.EXE abnormal program termination
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Office but it doesn't seem to clear the
problem. Also, the old settings for Word show up even though I have deleted
and reinstalled. What could be the problem?

Have you tried to ask in a MS WORD newsgroup? This one is dedicated to
MS ACCESS.
