After installing Office 2003, I started getting Runtime errors in Internet
Explorer
Error: A runtime error has occured. Do you wish to debug?Line 359
Error: object expected
The same thing happened a few months ago, I would get runtime errors and
then after about 30 min or so, I would lose my internet connection for IE,
yet outlook express still worked. I would then reboot the computer and IE
would again have an internet connection for a while.
I kept trying to figure out what was causing it, so I recently did a repair
installation for XP using the XP CD. IE worked perfectly for many many
hours, I didn't once lose my internet connection. I then upgraded to SP1
again, since the repair install caused that to be overwritten. Then I
reinstalled Office 2003, since the repair install also messed that up. I ran
a repair install of Office 2003 not the fresh install.
Now the runtime errors have returned, and I assume that I'll start losing my
internet connection for IE again. Although it's not yet happened since I've
just recently reinstalled Office and enough time hasn't elaspsed.
How can I get rid of these runtime errors and fix IE after a Office 2003
install?
