save a Powerpoint (2003) template from the website as an option i.

Hi,
How do I download and save a powerpoint slide template so that it appears as
an option in the design template window? When I download it now, it just
opens it up to be used in a new slide presentation. I want to be able to
apply to an old slideshow.

File | Save As | Template (.pot) and it should then reflect your template
folder. give it a name, and then you should be able to use it at any time.

Thanks. I have done that now but it doesn't appear in the design template
window as a choice to use in a presentation. How do I get it to do that?

You'll probably need to click on the Browse link at the bottom of the task pane.
