Save As -or- Insert File

Whenever I try to save a file in another folder -or- insert a file in e-mail
I get a long delay before the browse procedure lets me save, open or insert
another file. This happened with my other PC also. Is there a virus that
affects this?

Usually open My Computer and right click on and Disconnect unavailable
drives will speed things back up. That way the application won't be
waiting for unavailable resources to respond.
