Saving a documentto a specified location.

I work on a network and have a template for a letter.
When you access the template and make changes, you go to do a "Save As"
The computer always brings up a particular folder, I would like to change
this to a different folder.

Is there a way to have the Save As linked to the folder I need the document
to go to?

Hi, Mike. In Word, click on Tools | Options | File Locations, and modify the
location of the Documents folder.

I tried this suggestion, unfortunetly, it did not work.

We I select the "Save As" it still points to a different folder then I would
like it to go to.

You can set the default file location for documents on the File Locations
tab of Tools | Options. Also, you should not need to Save As, just Save
(though of course the first save of an unnamed document *is* a Save As).
