I am a rookie. What format do I save excel (for mac 2008) worksheets in to email them to pc users to allow them to view my work? I hope this question makes sense and my computer naivete isn't so transparent.

If you are going to email them, email them in .xlsx. An xlsx file is a
quarter the size, so it's much better for emailing.

All PC users have been able to read .xlsx since late 2006.

When you email anything, Zip it first, to avoid problems with people who do
not know how to drive their computers :)

Zipping the file (Right-Click it and choose "Compress...") doesn't do much
because a .xlsx won't compress any further, but it makes the other person
save the file to disk, so when they open it, it will open correctly.

Hope this helps
