Saving baseline

Saving a baseline
I just want to confirm something. If I baseline an entire plan and track
progress for a week, then add a few new task items. When I save the baseline
again, I only save the selected task (the new ones) using the option in to
only save the selected task, this will not re-set the baseline for the entire
project tight? It will only add the new selected task to the existing
baseline right?

Well, sort of. It won't roll the new tasks up to any summaries'
baselines in Project 2000, so you would have to modify the summary
lines manually, if necessary. But no, it will not overwrite previous
baseline information for tasks that are NOT selected. Be sure you
select the appropriate tasks before you go to Tools>Tracking>Save
Baseline.
